Nathan Scinto-Madonich, PhD

Scientist

As a Scientist I at Zymtronix, Nathan Scinto-Madonich utilizes molecular biology techniques to characterize the response of target crops and weeds to Zymtronix's cell-free crop protection technologies. These insights drive further formulation development that improves the control of key agricultural pests. Additionally, he bridges the gap between technical development and commercial success by managing trials with key commercial partners to demonstrate product success on large-scale, real-world acres.

Originally from San Bruno, CA, Nathan received a BA in Botany from Ohio Wesleyan University in 2012, and a PhD in Plant Biology from Cornell University in 2024 with a concentration in plant physiology and mineral nutrition. In his free time, Nathan enjoys playing soccer and tinkering in his garden.
