Zymtronix's Cell-Free Platform Chosen for IVM Solutions with The Orion Companies.
Auburn, AL - Zymtronix and The Orion Companies (TOC) have signed an exclusive agreement to develop and commercialize the Zymtronix EX enzyme technology for herbicide application in vegetation management uses such as industrial vegetation management, forestry, and range & pasture. Zymtronix and The Orion Companies began their vegetation management field trials in 2024 and plan to commercialize the EX technology in 2026 and 2027 following promising results.
“The proprietary and patented EX technology is providing enhanced herbicide performance in field trials,” states Adam Monroe, Zymtronix CEO. “We see that the EX technology is increasing herbicide translocation, extending herbicide performance and improving control.”
